The charity needed a permanent home for their lovely gigs having occupied a polytunnel near the seafront.
The land was offered to them by Purbeck District Council (perversely some distance from the water’s edge and in a sensitive landscape location). We developed concepts for a boat house as ‘part of’ the garden landscape, obtained planning permission, assisted with the fundraising and prepared full working drawings for the building. The project involved close work with Purbeck District Council and their landscape officer and extensive public consultation.
