Replacement club (multipurpose sports hall, squash courts and social spaces) for Hamworthy Engineering who occupied a site near Poole.
We found a new site within the green belt near Wimborne with an extant Planning Permission for leisure use. A simple portal frame and roof form allowed the building to fit within an extremely tight budget whilst also providing an appropriate agricultural form. Design of interior enabled minimum staffing levels and maximum supervision.
